The Digital Tools I’m Using for Productivity, Learning, Content Creation, and Wellbeing in 2024
A peek into my digital (and occasionally non-digital) wellbeing-driven productivity toolkit.
I love learning about digital and non-digital tools people use to run their lives.
Assuming it isn’t just me, I thought sharing the (remarkably long) list of digital tools I use for productivity, learning, content creation, and wellbeing would be fun. You’ll notice a few non-digital tools in there, too.
Here goes…
Productivity
These are the tools I use to get things done:
Morgen (calendar and time-blocking app – use the discount code martine10 for a 10% discount )
Tana Capture app (quick capture)
Todoist (task manager)
Forest app (gamified focus tool and mobile phone blocker)
Dark Noise app (focus sounds)
Pomofocus (web-based Pomodoro timer)
Sand timer (physical Pomodoro timer)
Loop Engage earplugs (earplugs for focus/noise reduction)
Loop Quiet (earplugs for sleep)
ONO (favourite fidget)
Spark (personal email – I use Outlook for work)
Toggl (time tracking for client work on desktop)
Timery for Toggl app (time tracking for client work on iPhone)

My PKM toolkit encompasses everything I use to consume content (for learning purposes). Here are the tools:

Hevy app (weightlifting routines and tracking)

Skillshare (creative learning)
A Few Notes
I will have forgotten something, so expect this post to be updated as and when I remember.
I do not use ChatGPT directly, so I have not included it as a tool in this list; I have API access and tend to use ChatGPT inside other apps (e.g. Tana and Typing Mind).
Finally, some of the links I have shared in this post are affiliate links, which means I get a small commission if you purchase anything via my link (it often means I have secured a discount for you as part of the deal, too). Please be assured that I only share affiliate links for tools I have used and recommended.
That’s the list… for now. Tell me about your toolkit.
