Today’s email is a reminder to breathe - especially if you are experiencing stress or anxiety.
Thanks to my glorious neurodivergent brain, I struggle with stress and anxiety often - particularly during periods of change. I know meditation would help, and I have tried many times. But I cannot do it.
Put simply, brain says no.
Breathing, though… breathing I can do.
Over the past month, I have rediscovered breathwork. The impact has been huge - so much so that it inspired today’s Deep Dive and exclusive podcast episode, a.k.a. Your Voice Note by Martine.
Breathwork has been practised for centuries, and there is lots of research confirming its effectiveness. What I love most about it, though, is the fact that I only need to spend a few minutes a day on breathwork to feel better. I love that level of efficiency.
